Within the Lucas Lifestyle Choices category, we’ve included products that will suit customers who are Vegetarian, Flexitarian (someone who follows a predominantly vegetarian diet, but occasional eats meat or fish), or who look for Gluten Free foods.
There are several products in the Lucas range that are ideal for these customers. The mixes and ingredients are created to be full of flavour and of equal quality to all our products, but serving specific needs, or preferences. We’ve also put our Chicken Sausage Mix into this category, as chicken is generally viewed as a “healthier” meat.
Gluten Free
Lucas has proved that Gluten Free doesn’t mean taste-free with its fantastically popular Gluten Free range. Along with the Gluten Free Pork Sausage Mix, with its traditional flavouring, there’s a choice of Gluten Free Cracked Black Pepper Sausage Mix, Gluten Free Lincolnshire Sausage Mix and Gluten Free Caramelised Onion & Cracked Black Pepper Burger Mix. All the mixes are ready-blended, with taste, texture and appearance all carefully balanced.
Chicken
The trend for “healthier” or “lighter” foods can be seen in the increased sales of chicken-based foods. Flexitarian
